I am writing to thank you and your staff for the outstanding job that you have performed for the model room for the Marriott Hotel & Convention Center that we are currently building in Sugar Land, Texas.

During the installation of this model room, I received multiple telephone calls from personnel on site, indicating merchandise had not arrived. Through the use of e-mail notifications I received from your company each time a delivery was made, I was not only able to verify each item had arrived, but also let the installer know the arrival date and who signed for it. In addition to the shipping and delivery notifications, I received a weekly project summary status via e-mail that organized the information into a very easy report for me to use. The overall reporting provided by your company was fantastic and like nothing I've ever been provided with before.

The merchandise arrived in a very timely manner and without any damages to the product. As I am sure you are aware, preparing a model room can be a very hectic time, and product usually arrives with no time to spare. It creates more work on our end when product is damaged in transit because frequently the replacement item cannot be produced and shipped in time for review with everything else. Without the contribution of your team, we would not have been able to meet our deadline for the model room review.

Finally, I wanted to thank you for the reimbursement your company sought on our behalf from one of the casegood vendors. This was the first time in my career I have ever had a freight management company determine there were additional costs for shipping product from two different points of origin versus one. This determination allowed us to contact the vendor and correct the situation before production began.

Since the inception of our business relationship in March of 2002, Audit Logistics has given me a new perspective on what "freight management" really is. Your firm has done an exceptional job of handling our business, and truly shown what a difference the "agent only" relationship can make. Five areas that stand out are:

Improved Communication - requests for information are processed more quickly, project managers are very responsive and work to meet installation dates, and problems are communicated very effectively as they arise.

Reporting - reporting is incredibly timely and very useful when updating our internal systems that are used by properties to check order status.

Damage and Claims - claims have decreased by more than 50%. When claims did occur, processing, follow through, and reimbursements were 100% better than past experiences.

Overall Savings - freight costs are down significantly, and invoices are coded with our internal reference numbers for easier processing.

Audit Ability - we are able to determine exactly what we are paying for freight, and exactly what we are paying for your services.
